Scientists have found that Mammoths are closely related to the Asian Elephant, and that they looked a lot like their modern day cousin too. They had smaller tails and ears to prevent them getting frostbite and were covered in fur to help keep them toasty in the temperatures as cold as minus 50°C. They even had fur-lined ears! Though the last of the mammoths died out around 4000 years ago, you can step back in time with the new Mammoth toy from Lanka Kade.
Each figure is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Sri Lanka, making each one unique, and while the design is printed on both sides, the natural wood grain is still visible along the edge. They are made from sustainably sourced rubberwood and non-toxic paints. Blemishes may be visible, but this is part of the beauty of a natural wood product.
